As our first music-related post, I’d like to talk about something that Love The Captive has nothing to do with. You might think we’re in this biz not because we love music and Fresno, but rather to make ourselves super-rich. And you’d be right. But sometimes it’s fun for us to throw the little guys a bone. That’s why we’re strongly encouraging you to attend the re:FUSE Festival tomorrow (Saturday).
It’s the chance to see up to 40 local bands playing at awesome downtown venues. (We know you “love downtown, but there’s never anything cool going on down there.” Well, guess what?) It’s all for only 15 bucks. By all rights, we should be paying that much just to see Sleepover Disaster, or Wheels of Fortune, or Blake Jones. Check out the list of artists at the link above. Catch some acts you’ve never heard of. What do you have to lose?
