Weeksauce: too much good stuff

Greetings, dudes and dudettes.

Thanks to all who came to The Wooden Birds show last Tuesday. It was an all-around great night, despite the slight electricity-related rainy-day difficulties.

It’s a big fun Fresno music week in Fresno this week big fun.

First, it’s the release of (birthday boy) Fashawn‘s album tomorrow. If you’re not going to the release show at the Tower Theater on Saturday, you’re probably not as cool as you think you are. The Fresnan has a good summary of Fashawn goodness. Furthermore, Mike Oz has some free tunes for you!

Tomorrow, the Heavy Young Heathens will be doing awesome things at the Starline. Super-awesomeness will be achieved with the inclusion of Malbec and St Leonards. Five bucks. Can’t beat that. (This show in being presented by Numbskull Shows.)

Well, that’s already enough for a super week in music, but wait. There’s more.

On Thursday at Audie’s, it’s the CD release for everybody’s favorite something-or-others, Fay Wrays!

Fay Wrays release

All in all, not too shabby.

Note: Little Dragon tickets will be on sale by tomorrow at The Laundry Room, Veni Vidi Vici, Palomino’s, Retro Rag, Audie’s, and of course neptix.com.
