Wooden Birds flierTuesday, October 13 – The Wooden Birds take a break from their current national tour with Great Lake Swimmers for a stop at the Starline.

Fronted by Andrew Kenney (formerly of American Analog Set), this Austin, Texas, band takes a warm, percussive approach to their indie folk.

Signed on Barsuk Records—the launching pad for Death Cab For Cutie, Rilo Kiley, Ra Ra Riot, and more—The Wooden Birds are sure to take flight. Get it? Flight? Because they’re birds. Although, they are wooden, so I don’t know.

Also playing is Picture Atlantic, straight outta San Jose, and Fresno indie poppers Greener By Color.
