Friday, June 25 –Radar Bros. have been a pillar of LA indie rock since they formed in the late 90s. Led by singer-songwriter Jim Putnam, their smoky alt-rock has been kicking the asses of audience’s ears all over the world. Their latest effort The Illustrated Garden, released on Merge Records last March, conveys “that feeling of being happily sunbaked and mildly delirious, subsisting on pure sensory intake” (The AV Club).
And, just before joining up with Modest Mouse for some Midwest shows, Radar Bros. are coming to Frank’s Place. This is an extra-special show because it marks the beginning of the Frank’s Place Era for Love The Captive. This is our first show in this great venue, and we’re super excited for the possibilities to come. You need to see it for yourself.
Also, Wheels of Fortune and Primer Skyline will be joining, for what promises to be one bitchin’ show.
