John “Johnny Q” Quiroz is the heart and soul of Love The Captive. It is his vision and passion that drive us. When he isn’t exchanging emails with bands and agents or organizing kick-ass shows, he’s spinning mad-crazy beats around town as DJ Johnny Q.
Turtle
Arturo “Turtle” Breceda has the best nickname of the group. He’s the mind behind the design of Love the Captive, sketching up most of the fliers and posters you see. He’s also a pretty snazzy dresser.
Conlan
Conlan is the one behind Love The Captive’s web presence, in charge of lovethecaptive.com. He’s also a writer, which is why he also runs the LTC blog. You can read more of his words at http://thisisconlan.com.
Kelly
Occasionally we have to move heavy equipment like amps and beer kegs. That’s why we brought Kelly on board: to handle the heavy lifting. (Also, she sometimes takes pictures and stuff.)
Joey
Joey “Jo-Jo” Lynch is a Joe-of-all-trades. He does some booking, some promoting, some running of the soundboards. He brings us a fresh appreciation for genres like metal and punk, and spends the rest of his time gunning buffalos.
